四煩惱

(四煩惱, 四烦恼)

The four delusions in reference to the ego: [lang id =1028]我痴 ignorance in regard to the ego; [lang id =1028]我見 holding to the ego idea; [lang id =1028]我慢 self-esteem, egotism, pride; [lang id =1028]我愛 self-seeking, or desire, both the latter arising from belief in the ego. Also [lang id =1028]四惑.

又作四惑、 四根本煩惱。 即我痴、 我見、 我慢、 我愛。 在唯識宗的理論上， 此為與第七末那識相應而起的四種根本煩惱。 我痴， 即無明， 謂愚於我之相而迷於無我之理。 我見， 即我執， 謂對於非我之法妄計為我。 我慢， 即倨傲， 謂恃所執之我， 令心高舉。 我愛， 即我貪， 謂對於所執之我深生耽著。 見《成唯識論》卷四。
